Osaka is famous for its delicious food. Be sure to try as many Japanese dishes as possible.
Don't give up and revert to KFC or McDonalds. There is a wonderful "nigiri sushi" restaurant in Sonezaki (near the open market) and the Sonezaki Elementary School. The restaurant is called "Kame Sushi". I've been going there for nearly half a century and have never been disappointed. Reasonably priced too. Be sure to try their "AKADASH" miso soup and some "sake" to really get the feel of Japanese cuisine. Enjoy Osaka.....there's no place on earth quite like it.

Osaka is very deep. You can see Top to Bottom, Celeb to Halem in order. You got to do proper preparation to enjoy everything. Even I live here for some years, I can see many intetesting events, beautiful nature, yummy food discovery every day.
Have a wonderful time! Osaka is great!!!
