Portmore consist of number of residential communities, neighbours live close to each other but it can be very quiet in these community at times. i would definetly recommend Portmore as a place to live.

I lived in Greater Portmore for over 16 years...Some places in Portmore is quite fine to live ... however being there can be a bit challenging...it is hot at times and the lack of maintenance of gullies and canals contribute greatly to the mosquito nuisance that affects most residence...the Hellshire Beach and the Two Sisters Cave are main attractions in Portmore

I lived in Garvey Meade and it's quiet not like other places in port more where it is not so quiet it's not too far from the port more mall can either take the bus or taxi plus we have Hellshire beach where you can go.

I see Portmore as a beautiful place. I have lived there for 3 years and i am enjoying the peace and quiet. My community is equivalent to a gated community. I walk to the stores and restaurant and can walk home. this is the life. NO CRIME!
