Ravindra, you only have 5 days at your disposal, 2nd to 6th June. You can not make it by train to Shimla and back in such a short span unless you just want to make it, touch and go about which also I am doubtful. You have to travel by air from Banglore -Delhi-connecting flight to Chandigarh and by taxi to shimla 120 kms- 4 hours-6 by transport bus. This way only you may be able to make it in one day to Shimla, starting early from Banglore and being lucky enough to get connecting flight to Chandigarh the same day from where taxi to Shimla will be no problem. Same routine for return on 6th and thuis you get three full days at Shimla. Otherwise plan it for some other time when you have atleast 2 weeks break.

Shimla is really a queen of hills which is full of snow. Shimla has various points to visit such as Nalderda, Kufri & MAll road which are amazing place to visit. Kufri is a place full of snow and the coldest point to visit. Mall road is located on the top of the hill , if you wish to visit this place there is a Elevator which will help you reach there. Amazing food , climate and nature. Awesome place to visit friends....

Shimla also known as the "Queen of Hills" has got a highly exotic scenic attraction that will compel one to visit the place again and again. Located in north-west Himalayas at an altitude of 2,130 metres (6,988 ft), the city of Shimla, draped in forests of pine, rhododendron, and oak, experiences pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters.
