try to venture and find out more about the places from govt office(I.P.&T.) and avoid suggessions from travel agents, i am a local here but i don't run tour opreations, climate has become very fluctuative due to lack of rain.

Good input Ritesh. One could not completely ignore the tour operators however Andaman has many untrained / inexperienced tour operators who do not know how to make a package which suits to a guest. Therefore the Local Government departments and known tour operators could be approached.

Only Eyes will tell the you what we have felt over their. It will be insult to say that words can explain the natural beauty, ready to help Govt persons, Supporting and helping locals, A breath Taking View, A memory which you will always cherish...... rest is the experience Have a good luck and best of wishes for your trip.......

One more thing Kindly avoide giving food to Native Jarwa People as they feel sick and in many case die due to food posining from the food provided by Tourists. (As their system is not habitual for processed foods). If you wann to give them some thing then carry RED Color Cloths / Items with you they really love it

Visit to Andaman & Nicobar Islands is really worth. One should experience the beauty of nature which cannot be explained in words. I enjoyed every bit of my trip there.

IDEAL PLACE FOR MARINE LIFE LOVERS...

Ideal for people who enjoy beaches /water activities, history, some British Architecture or maybe just to relax. Quite unexplored still, I would rate it better than a lot of beach destinations all around the world. Thoroughly refreshing destination.
A lot of full day trips to do from Port Blair like North Bay coral island tour-Red Skin, Corbyn's cove, Ross island, harbour cruise and even night stays are worthwhile to other nearby islands like Havelock and Rangat. Cellular Jail and its light and sound show in the evening is a must for all to re-live that part of indian history. Other destinations like Zoo, Gandhi park are there for the travellers.

Water sports is not exactly too much available in Port Blair itself due to tsunami - it hasnt been able to restart in the water sports complex there; but there is snorkeling / diving / watching corals from a glass bottom boat at red skin and other beach islands all around & trekking in the forest area.
