Its a good place to spend some peaceful time. Winters are very good. Vaisho devi, Shiv Khori, Pantitop are the near place to visit.
Overall Good experience. Best religious place to visit is Vaishno devi. If u love mountains then go for Patitop

Jammu region is abode of gods and goddesses for which it bears the name, 'city of temples'. The region has broadened the spheres of pilgrimage tourism. The Valley of Kashmir has been a favourite destination of the travellers from early times making it Paradise on earth.Ladakh, a living centre of Buddhism, possesses mystique landscape and a rugged pinnacle is a dream of adventurers and explorers.

Bhaderwah and Kishtwar are the other two tourist destinations. From Batote (approx 10 kms North from Patnitop one needs to travel Eastwards for about 30 Kms along Chenab River to Doda. From Doda Bhaderwah is about 30 Kms Southwards and is also called as mini Kashmir. Kishtwar is further 50 Kms Eastwards along the Chenab River from Doda.
