Anyone who has a love for nature this is a place of choice to get everything of nature in one place. The city is surrounded with rivers, hills, forests with a pleasant whether (Excluding the rainy season started fro May to July). The surrounding places around Gwahati is full of natures gift. One can visit any places in this part of India a feel that every corner, every village is a tourist spot.
Beware, recent bomb blasts by extremists are to be taken seriously. But once you reach there it is normal life.
