Very nice town and also wide spread district. Agriculture and fishing is the major economy of Cuddalore District. You can find a Port in Cuddalore OT. It will symbolise the Fishing gives more revenue to the district. One special thing about Cuddalore : In India there are only 8 hand made ships are there to carry luggages, on that one was build in Cuddalore fisherman in the year 2008.

PICHAVARAM : The Mangrove Forest. This forest considered among the healthiest mangrove occurrence in the world. Number of island is interspersing a vast expanse of water and covered with green trees. Boating facilities gives special attraction to this spot.
