It's a beautiful and very systematically planned city. I was highly impressed by its cleanliness its only city in India following rain water harvesting 4 everyone. This must be compulsory 4 all cities in India and we will never face drought. It's people and their language is also sweet. I wish all cities in India could be like it.

Hello Friends this is kashish from chandigarh.i am here to tell something about my city chandigarh.Accordiing to all peoples jaipur is a pink city but acc. to me chaindigarh is a pink city and its true.there are too many interesting places.Rock garden bole to ekdum mast.Sukhna Jhil wah wah.so there are many places and chandi.is my native place also.thats it.no words more to describing.

Chandigarh is the only city in India and probably in the world which was planned by French architect Le Corbusier. When one wants to visit Chandigarh one should not miss the following places to visit. The Sukhana Lake is the main tourist attraction. One can enjoy the beauty of the lake and surroundings with an experience of boat ride. The Rock Garden is famous for the creativity from the waste items. You will be astonished to see what one can create from the rubble. The Rose Garden: This is the only rose garden in Asia and is worth a visit if one visits Chandigarh. You will be astounded by the sheer number of the roses which you will find in various sizes, colours and having different smells. It is a dream come true for a botanist. You will find almost every species of rose on this planet. ISBT Sector 17is the heart of the city. One should visit this place for shopping. You are likely to find some factory outlets of well known brands. You can do a lot of shopping and eating too.

This is in addition to the details that Tushar gave, one must visit the light and sound show that is being played in Chandigarh Art Gallery/Museum in the evening. It a must watch. Though the population is more now but Chandigarh is far far better than any other city in India & its still "CITY BEAUTIFUL".

hey.....i know most of the people here have added some great info about Chandigarh..but i say this is the best place because you can get all the best things along with harmony....moreover here you can see the up and bihar people speaking punjabi and punjabi speaking bhojpuri to them...and it may be a capital for Punjab an Haryana but actually students from all of the north and even north-east throng this place...so its not just tanother plso its a lovely place ,,,specially for the loved ones....aned city by a foreigner but a place where the rich cultures of India intermingle and prosper....

Chandigarh very small city, The place where you'll find the all religions. it is not known as Particular Traditional or devotional place. This is the Center zone of North India. where different community people are lived. Most Attractive locations are Shukana Lake, Rock-Garden, Rose-Garden and also the Rajiv Gandhi's IT park. Come and See Our Beautiful City !!
