The first amazing apect of Weymouth is the gorgeous scenery. It is amazing to sit down in the sand and contemplate the beauty of the sea. Besides, it has everything to have an amzing shopping day. All kind of stores. It offers such a great variety of activities such as the going to the cinema or going for a drink. Unfourtunately, we could not check all what it offers but still it is amazing. Certainly, I'll be back hehe

In addition to the fantastic beaches and scenery in and around the Weymouth area, there's also a very good night life.
On my first visit last November most of the pubs had some form of live entertainment from Friday to Sunday night which I find quite rare.

Weymouth has a fantastic beach. with attractions like the Sea Life Center and the Nothe Fort there is always something to see. We have fireworks every Monday evening throughout the summer and have a carnival every August.

Nearby Portland boasts exceptional views along it's coastal path. Views over the Chesil are amazing. Portland Castle was built by Henry 8th and a long tradition of the Royal Navy around these waters can still be found.

We are also now very proud of the fact that the sailing events for the 2012 Olympic Games will be held in Weymouth and Portland. Many of our gold medal sailors come from this area.

A great town with fantastic beaches with plenty to do around here even if the British weather closes in. You have the Tank museum at Bovington also close there you have the monkey world which does a great job. You have Portland which can take a day to look around. There is the Swannery at Abbotsbury which is also impressive. Weymouth its self is good a pleasant place to walk around there is often plenty to see and do on the beach. There is also the Notte Fort there and Portland castle for the history buffs.

The causeway is a nice walk (Chesil beach)
