very fun, full of energy, lots of night life.
brilliant for all music lovers, lots of live bands playing, lots of venues.
the beach, a theme park, arcades
and 2 shopping centres

nice place out there on the local seaside nearest to london. i had lots to see like a normal seaside everything woz tehre so had a nice time

THE BEST TIME EVER! JUST HAD to be THE SUMMER OF '67! I lived there for 3 months, Flower Power, Peace and Love, Sgt Pepper and all the psychedelic sounds from pirate radio off the Essex coast.
The Pier was intact, the weather as beautiful as the people.
Super-Southend could never be the same again!
