Absolutely fab with beautiful weather throughout. Great food, nice private beaches, quite something walking down the promenade and watching people with their poodles etc without a care in the world. Great nightlife and so many good restaurants. Eze, its like a village sort of where there are so many perfume factories. Great place to chill and it is also just a stone's throw from Monte Carlo and Monaco fantastic places to visit and see how the rich and famous live. Worth experiencing the Casino life Great shopping. Love it so much I have been a number of times. Would recommend to anyone. Even if for a weekend .

If you plan visiting the French Riviera, Nice is the best place to be your base. Just keep in mind, parking can be difficult, so try statying as central as possible near "Place Massena" or "Carre D'Or" (the stretch between hotel Le Negresco and Place Massena), so you can visit most places on foot or by bus/tramway/train. I would avoid staying around the train station, which gets a little shady at night. For good local food, I can recommend restaurants "L'Escalinada" (in the old town, unfortunately no credit cards accepted here) and "La Cantine de Lulu" (closed on the weekends and holidays). Most of the nightlife happens in the old town...
