I had some friends from overseas visiting and as a surprise, I took them to meet some friends in Lyon (which is only 4 hours by train which is why we nick-named the trip "Breakfast in France"). It was rather grey and the sun didn't come out all day but we went up to the cathedral, walked through the arts market and had a very good lunch at one of the street cafés. It was a very great day and Lyon is certainly worth visiting (maybe not on a Sunday, though... all shops were closed). |
