I've been in this city 3 times and I can't have enough! There is always something new to see and to enjoy. I've been during regular summer holiday but also during Fallas festival (spring) and this city is dancing in the streets all the day every day! Since I like wines, I tried here some wines from the area, the best one being the Casta Diva Cosecha Miel (from Alicante) and the Mistela. Other ones like Tempranillo and Garnacha are very good. Look for the denomination Utiel-Requena. Regarding the food I ended buying a recipes book, because it's very good. Not only the famous paella, also the arros al forn (baked rice), the fideua, and the orxata with fartons! For drinks, also the Agua de Valencia is a must-try. I just want to come back again and again here.

I recommend Valencia, it is one of the cities mas modern of Spain, with good food, places of tourist interest, splendid people, and much more.

Neither Madrid nor Barcelona would lose me if it had time for disfrutarl also any of these two cities.

Located in the Spanish eastern seaside, it combines the traditional Mediterranean kind of small town with the benefits of a big city, since not as big as Barcelona or Madrid (and hence easier to walk about and visit).
The historic centre is very nice, but the most beautiful things are not at simple view, you must get into the heart of the city to discover them.
A big splash of modernity is given by the City of Arts and Science, a huge awesome city inside the city with an Aquarium (L'Oceanografic), a Science Museum (Museo Prncipe Felipe), an IMAX Dome (L'Hemisfric) and an Opera Hall (Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia). Absolutely a MUST.
The night-life in Valencia is pretty large, one can go from Monday to Sunday to clubs located at the historic centre (El Carmen) and university zone (Plaza Honduras, Zona Mestalla), and from Thursday to Saturday to any other clubs zone (Puerto, Juan Llorens, Canovas, Alameda, Aragon, Calle San Vicente, etc.)
If won't get bored here!!
