I did twice the French route to Camino a Santiago de Compostela: Once 2008 riding my bike from Saint Jean Pied de Port, France (874 kms), the second was running , summer 2010 my trainning for the Real Berlin Marathon (Sep23). My best tip for the Camino , bring just really necesary stuffs, walk light and walk with a comfortable running shoes, forget boots. My second tip is try to travel along during the day, that give you the opportunity to think, check yourself internally and to live the magic of the Camino. And the last one tip is read about the history of the Camino, about Castles, thats gonna help you to understand the Camino... I wish you BUEN CAMINO

El Camino del Norte 2010 -The walk of life . 800 km by heart and foot a journey of maps and a journey of within. Most likely one of the most beautiful things I ve done. I believe that it was somewhere in between the ocean , mountains and villages of Spain that I finally learned how to carry my backpack and walk through life . For MS I dont know but I m a diabetic type 1 . We all come with circumstances amigos , dont ever let them limit you . And Buen Camino beautiful pilgrims ! Love from / M

I've walk a long way and made it spiritually! It's a whole life put in miniature 30-day walk. I hope I have another free time to do that... I really miss those days, that was August of 2006.

Just say a tip is really difficult...i would say visit the "old zone" where is the cathedral and the other architect elements (such as little houses or some bars or just cultural buildings) were built with stone. If you want to go out you can do it all over the city, is a university one so there are tons of pubs and discos. You have green spaces really near the city and 30 km away more or less there is already a beach but there are severals one you should visit. I could go on but if u have any doubt...just ask! :)
