What to tell you and what is not already written. We were there to see Loro park and that was nice spent day. Just across entrance at Loro park was nice restaurant with good domestic food.

Puerto de la Cruz is a compact resort with restaurants, shops and bars all within easy reach. Before I went I was advised to take my hiking boots which I found rather odd, but when I got there it all became clear! There are a LOT of steps whereever you go in the resort. The beach, marina, port and shopping centre are all in the centre with the hotels built into the rock on each side.

I went the week before xmas and although it did rain torrentially once or twice, it is generally over very quickly and the temperature did reach 30 degrees!

There is plenty to do with many different excursions. I can recommend a trip to the nearby market at Puerto Mogan. At the moment you can combine the market with searhing for dolphins, you are practically guarenteed to see some as the boat has state of the art technology for detecting them!

But whether you decide to do a bar crawl, ride some camels or take a trip to Las Palmas there is something on this wonderful island for everybody!!!
