The old town is just closed from the heart of the down town Marbella. You can visit lots of historical towns there. Please visit many of them. I've never been to Malaga. According to my friends, you can go to to see Bullfighting in Malaga. I recommend to go to Flamenco restuarants and bar in Marbella or Malaga. There is only on in Marbella. I also want to share one important information with you. The sense of time in Spain is a little far from me. They start dinner from around 21:00. They keep eating lunch until 15:00, sometime 16:00. This is Spain.

Marbella is a very Cosmopolitan Town. 45 mins drive from nearest Airport of Malaga. It is a hive of activity with Bars and Restaurants on vertually street corner...if you want to upgrade Puerto Banus is a short drive away, but still in the principality of Marbella. Its where the Rich and Famous play, all the fancy Cars and Yatchs and the high end shops and Boutiques.....fantastic place to see, but be careful...very very expensive.

I agree, the whole area around Puerto Banus is fantastic, I stayed in a hotel called Puente Romano, it was exquisite! I love going towards the end of the season, end of August-beginning of September to avoid the crowds. And remember, no carbs before Marbs hahaa

Very nice place especially in the elite area Puerto Banus where all the most famous shops are. There are also some very nice beaches closeby and you will see many expensive yachts and cars. I was there exactly 2 years ago and the weather was fantastic.

actually I stayed at Malaga and not marbella but I visited there on a couple of occasions , the town itself isnt large but is very nice in he evening when tne sun goes down , The Costa Del Sol . ( coast of the sun) is a very lovely place as a whole and the sunand sand are beautiful and of course you can sit out in the sunshine and enjoy the food in your t shirt and shorts , Marbella is lovely by night , ideal for romance and a honeymoon .

Take a drive to Ronda, 45km away. it is the third most visited place in Spain. A stunning village with beautiful cliffs. when there visit the Alegraluz International Tantra School.
