The hippie city of Spain. Its also a very chilled out, relaxed, young city with great history and free tapas. Be sure to check out the alhambra of course, by day the gardens and by night be sure to have a good view of it when the lights come on. You can visit some parts of the alhambra without a ticket but its worth the wait to get one[if you have a credit card their is a different queue and its quicker]. I found the best street to go is Calle Elvira, full of pubs and tapas. If you have time sure why not check out the Sierra Nevada. Be prepared to gain a few pounds...

A nice university town for a short visit! We went to a wonderful flamenco show in this small restaurant there. I would recommend doing it!

The most beautiful city I've ever seen that most people can not resist to visit one after another time. There's everything there to have a great stay: The Alhambra, Spain's most important monument, great night life, the original Tapas culture and sunshine on an average of 326 days a year. In addition, it's a pretty cheap stay as hostels, food and drinks don't draw too much cash from your purse. Just go there and explore the city - and please don't reduce Granada to the "hippie part" round Calle Elvira, because that's totally not what the Granadinos are like. Instead, go to the Mae West and have a fine and long night out :)

Granada is a wonderful experience to see the African Moor's influence on Spain at the time. Shows how impressive the Moors were

Granada is the best destination

Everyone must visit the Alhambra and see a flamenco show. I also recommend to take a guided walking tour to learn more about the city history. And don't forget to buy a drink + free tapas at one of the bars! It's also nice to check out the cave museum north of the city, it's quite interesting how people lived and can still live in caves!
