Could be a bit quiet depending on what kind of holiday you like. Good place to base youself. Just a short bus ride to Torremolinos and Fuengerola. Close to Marbella and Gibralter. Very nice place.

Been three times now, very nice place, has been said, lovely beach, marina very nice, buses good, 20min walk up to torromalinos or frequent bus, also bus to fuengirloa, or train very close by, short walk to a public park (free) bit like a mini zoo, did a boat trip from the marina to see the dolphins, fantastic, also did coach trip to gibralta, brill, would def go again.

First visited Benalmadena briefly when staying further up the coast but loved it so much that based ourselves there for 1 week. It has a fabulous enclosed Marina with many ornate bridges. There are lots of great places to eat and drink and the locals are very welcoming. The beach is long and clean and it is a place for people of all ages to enjoy

Very nice place to spend a few vacations days , nice beach , lots of bars and nightclubs , a good place to have fun.
