The beach in front of Yantai University is fabulous. You can pick up small jellyfish on the beach, as well as beatuiful shells.

Long island(Changdao), the island near Penglai City, is worth sightseeing. Attractive beach, lovely pebbles, and delicious seafood. Take a boat from Penglai for about 20 RMB, and u can spend 2 days on the island.
