Will're visiting the High Dam and Philae Temple, which is one of the finest temples in Aswan obelisk and loose ends and the Temple of Abu Simbel in addition to the work of the Nile Cruise boat sail and visit the Botanical Garden in Aswan and possible action safari boat sail to Kom Ombo city for two days, God willing

Aswan was memorable, not just for Abu Simbal but every moment we spent there was just lovely. We visited one of the local Nubian neighborhoods and met our "captain" - there were only 7 of us on this tour plus our guide so we sailed back on the nile in a lovely little boat - nothing like the huge liners that cruise the nile. It was lovely - excepting, of course, the need to set up a "toilet" each night we tied up on shore! But thems the breaks!

One thing I regret NOT doing - is NOT taking the opportunity of ballooning to Abu Simbal... I think it would have been remarkable. If I ever go back, that is on my list of MUSTs!
