Most travelers when you think of Tamworth tend to think the same its just country music BUT seriously all year round this place is somewhere quiet to get away to the nightlife is interesting the locals super friendly and is surrounded by gorgeous aussie scenery try mount bora for those paragliding inclined and vespas for dinner best cheapest Italian food you'll find anywhere outside of Italy!

I only stayed in Tamworth for a couple of days as my 4WD had broken down. The hospitality of the residents and the welcome i had was so overwhelming. I would advise anyone who loves cowboys and they country to visit.
