Doris 's tip about Vienna, Austria 2nd Dec 2009

I am living in Vienna and LOVE it. Vienna perfectly combines its wonderful atmosphere of old buildings and culture with young spirit. There is so much to see and experience when you come to this city. There are not only all the tourist must-sees but also some many places you should check out which are normally only known by locals. Go there and have good times!

Vienna is beautiful & lovable city. It's one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and the World for that matter. It wonderfully mixes time-aged culture and modern spirit. It has a terrific atmosphere of old culture and buzzing modern life. It's a city of ancient culture with a modern spirit. There is a lot to see and experience in Vienna: its museums and historical buildings. Remember, Vienna was an imperial city. I must add here also that Vienna is a well-governed city. Its public transport system is one of the best & cheapest in the world. Vienna is a lovely city worth visiting. Come and enjoy it. Hope you visit Vienna soon. I am confident you'll be happy of your visit. TSCHÜSS!!

It is important to know at what time of the year you visit Vienna. Now in winter you have lots of music: opera choir, church music preparing you for X-Mas you have markets, theater, Museum exhibitions etc. So far it has not been cold, but most touristic attractions are indoors. We are waiting for snow!!
