Zell am See Honeymooner in Winter

Greetings all,

I'm planning to spend some days in Zell am See on January 2013, which would be in winter time. I would ask what are the activities done at this time in general? and honeymooner as specific?

I would also like to ask about the activities that I would miss when going in winter? As my wedding is close, i would like to seek your help in planning a good honeymoon.

Hi ! We were Zell am See at one week 2 years ago. It is nice little village by the lake.
We like most Kaprun because it offers good off piste routes. Then there a little ski area called Rauris it is maybe 20 km from Zell guite a good short distance by car if you have one. So there is good slopes and very good off piste skiing. So go and enjoy !! BR Jari

We had stopped in Zell am see while going to the Hohe Tauern National Park. The town centre is a nice place to explore by foot. The lake is beautiful and you can easily enjoy a good summer day taking a boat trip and get a good view of the surrounding mountains.

accidently came across this this place on my way from Bregenz to Wien. anyway huge lake surrounded by snowtipped mountains,zell am see[at the see or at the lake]. perfect relaxing place for a few days during the summer at the lake or during the winter sking on the mountains.
