Yerevan is mainly good for shopping - nice market hall, but you should go out of Yerevan, where you can see great historical places. Also you should go and swim in Lake Sevan .... big lake on a level of 2000 m with clear water and very good crayfishes !!

Yerevan is the nice city! You also could see Gegard and Harni - the temple complexes in the mountains, Hor Virap - small town and temple opposite Ararat Mt.. All these places are not far from Erevan. And you also could try to ski at Tsakhkadzor!
