the end of Las Olas Blvd where it hits the beach is the place to be. Try the Elbo Room or any of the many bars/restaurants right along the beach here.

Much better than Miami for shopping and going to the beach. Safer for driving if you rent a car.

Large area of many towns... Hallandale beach is great-great beach, quiet, cosy, great restaurants, great night life within driving distance.... too and fro its the place to go.
