Colorado Springs is a great place for outdoor activities. Mountain biking, hiking, camping and rock climbing are all popular activities here.

Scenery is beautiful, people are grumpy/have an attitude. I prefer Denver or Pueblo. Springs is worth the visit for landscape, and cheap cost of living.

As always it was wonderful except for one thing, rain and thunderstorms. Had a few on Saturday and Sunday was a complete washout. Saw Brule on Saturday but they could not perform at all on Sunday. Saw Trent Tomlinson on Saturday too, and it rained during his performance. Did not stay for it all. The Eli Young Band was supposed to perform on Sunday, but we had storm after storm for hours and they never could play. Mike, the lead singer came off the stage and talked to us and let us have pictures with him, he was sweet. I had soaking wet feet by the time I decided to leave. I have gone to Territory Days for years since 2001 and it has never been like this. Oh well, will go again next year.

Nice trip..... But it's not the best time to visit. Summer rides were closed for winter and winter sports were not open as there was no snow....
So, better choose the best time in the year.
