I was born and raised in San Francisco. Lived there for 35 yrs. If you only have a couple days to spend in the city you can't go wrong with visiting Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and the Ferry Bldg. The traffic a nightmare and parking is very expensive so catch the Bart down to the Embarcadero and catch the bus or walk to the wharf. You can also takee the cable car from downtown to the wharf. If you are into nature, Check out Golden Gate Park (Japanese tea garden) and the Golden Gate bridge. A nice place to go eat is Chinatown and Little Italy. (Columbus Ave) Any place in chinatown is great for Dim sum (Chinese dumplings) but try the Golden Dragon. (good food ut infamous history)

I would like to know the beautiful places and their information in San Francisco.

Reba McE from Pasay City, Philippines Reba
It is a unique place to visit. Right in the heart of the city, take a ride in a cable car and tour the hilly roads. There are three different routes which will take you to sights like the Lombard Street (crooked street), hop out and hop in to the next cable car and it will take you to another route, the Fisherman's wharf, take a stroll and the third route is going downhill to Market street (another station).

It is a fascinating city with the world's number 1 Golden Gate Bridge. It is a popular international tourist destination known for its landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, the cable cars, Coit Tower, and Chinatown, its steep rolling hills, and its eclectic mix of Victorian and modern architecture. The city is the home one of the largest Chinese and Gay populations. The Bay area is also considered the capital of IT and Biotechnology sectors. Many new companies, including Yahoo, Google, Intel, etc., were all started in the Bay area. The Bay area is geographically and ethnically diverse. The city offers visitors many things, including restaurants and entertainment. I must have visited this city numerous times. Each time I have brought back different memories.

living there SF a long time(15 years), i find that some places do have live music bands. The most appealing one is a cafe on ground front, somewhere very near Cyril Magnin, the Parc 55 hotel area. They have a Jazz band playing very good Jazz. I saw it in day time, like about 4pm. Must ask your concierge about this, but surely it is around the streets in the vicinity of Parc 55-maybe on Eddy street?
2nd one that has live band is where i used to work for before. Tonga room in Fairmont hotel basement floor. To go there again you just hop on the cable car from Parc 55 vicinity (1 short block from Parc 55, in front of GAP is cable car. Just hop on and ask to get off at California. Tonga Room is right at your footsteps, but now they close the back entrance and you then got to walk uphill to the front entrance of Fairmont Hotel to get back in.
Elsewhere in the South of Market (SOMA), Mission, Polk/O'Farrell(world theater?), the Symphony itself, you can find great live performance from reg

If I am truly honest, this is my favorite city, probably because it is small and you can get round the Inbarcadero center which is their Fiancial district in half a day. there is also pier 39 Alcatraz and the Colt tower. Home of the SF 49ers I think it is Baseball I am not sure to be honest. What a beautiful city, everything is on an hill, and everywhere you look you have a view of the beautiful bay. There is also the Golden Gate bridge, and park, so much to see, lovely restaurants bars and cafes. You are also not far from Napa valley. I certainly have left my heart in San Francisco, I think I need to go back to pick it up don't you!!!!
