Anchorage is the best place on earth. It has such a diversified culture it is amazing. The winter carnival called Fur Rondy is quite unique.Ever riden carnival rides at -30 below? You can here in Anchorage. |

Ireally had a good time over there and even went fishing with my brother in law on the Russian and kenai rivers that was awesome and the weather could not be better for this time, a little rainy but it was beautiful I could not wait to go there again on winter.

We moved their the summer of 1995, I was a bit scared at first but when we got their. I loved every thing about it. I was so upset when we moved, it also had some bad memories but mostly good. I wait to go back so bad!

The most AMAZING and beautiful state in the US! Everywhere you go, it's fabulous green pastures and wildlife. In the summer, fishing and kayaking are MUST DOS!!!

Well right now we here in Anchorage Alaska just got about 6 inches of snow maybe more so if you like to ski or snowboard there is a place here in Anchorage that is a good location for skiing and snowboarding I'm not sure of what the mountian is called cause skiing and snowboarding aren't my particular type of entertainment but I hear from people that do say its the best place up here there are good places to eat if your looking to dine out and that is Gweenies on Spenard right across from the Harley Davison shop the 16th Century Theatre is a good place to catch a movie and thas about it for what I can give ya for entertainment guess the rest will be up to you.

Not sure what you like doing. There isn't alot of good food up here. Prices are high. The scenery south of Anchorage down the Seward Highway is nice. The trip to Seward is pretty and there are some fun shops and places to stay there. My favorite town is Homer. Five hour drive south. Lots of fun art shops and there is a spit onto the ocean. Lands End is a neat place to stay right there at the end of the spit. Anchorage does have a nice walking trail called the coastal trail.
