After Living in Washington, DC for 15 years I moved to Baltimore's Charles Village neighborhood in 2003. I love Baltimore! Washingtonians and New Yorkers have a negative view of Bmore, but they've never explored outside of the Inner Harbor tourist areas. Kind of like visiting Washington and never leaving the National Mall. Sure we have crime, but if your not dealing drugs in southwest or west Bmore, you're not going to have any problems. The Guilford, Homeland, and Roland Park neighborhoods never get any mention, but there you can live in a restored and updated 1920s era 7,000 sf mansion surrounded by gardens and thousands of neighbors for the same price as a crappy built new one bedroom condo along Washington's U Street that after 20 years of gentrification, is still riddled with crime and murder! I know, I moved to U Street in 1991. I was burglarized over ten times in DC, and in Baltimore we don't even have to have burglar bars on the windows!

One of the beautiful seaport and nice fun loving places amusements, under the sea aquariums.
Shopping and dining is pleasure here. A travelers haven with well connected routes on road and air services. I was really fascinated by the beauty of the sea and aquarium and dolphin shows

I love Baltimore and live here. Its not trendy. Its not glamorous. Its a blue collar city with a history and lots to be proud of. Yes there are problems. Drugs, violence, but its not unlike many other cities. There is a lot more to Baltimore than what you see on the television shows Homicide and The Wire. Visit us and see what we have to offer. And don't forget its the home to John Waters. What more can I say.
