I may be moving to Seattle, WA and have never even been there before! I won't be going until October or November and will be living there for about a year. I need to get a furnished apartment, and don't know the nice areas. I'll be working at 1200 5th Ave. |

Lived here most of my life. There is rain and drizzle but with that there are tremendous forests & snow capped mountains. Summer is a wonderful time to come & see the tours of Puget Sound and wildlife adventures, whale watching or charter fishing. Winter is spectacular with the ski resorts. Things to do is only limited by the time you have to spend here. Basically South of Seattle is a crap shoot on how nice it is or safe. North of Seattle is much more eclectic and dependable. Restaurants abound as do Hotels but the Inn at Pike Place Market is stunning as a hotel and the Warwick is wonderful. Canlis, Ruth's Chris, Outback steakhouse or any Anthony's restaurant in the area are terrific.

When the sun is out there is no town more beautiful in this country! Nature is abundant in this area. It is NOT the land of asphalt and concrete! Even driving down a freeway is beautiful!

It is a beautiful place.If you really want to have fun just come to down town Seattle,where U can find anything of Ur choive or if Ur looking for some romantic getaway,many places are there like Bellevue,Kent etc...

IT WAS OUR FIRST 4TH JULY IN SEATTLE IN DOWN TOWN. IT WAS GREAT THE CITY WAS ALL LITE UP WITH FIREWORKS IN THE SKY. IT WAS LIKE YOU WHERE IN THE FIREWORKS THAT IS HOW GREAT IT WAS. WITH THE TALL BUILDINGS AND ALL THE PEOPLE THAT WAS THERE TO WATCH ALSO. IT WAS SO SPARKLE THAT IT WAS AWESOME. NEED TO GO TO SEE.

Hey there! I'm moving to Seattle in the middle of October. I've never even been there! Besides it raining all the time, is there anything I should know? I'm going to be living in Queen Anne South and have no idea about the neighborhood! I'm a single woman and need to know where to stay away from! Help!!
