Madison is a quaint little town for a state capitol. I love the coffee shops and the annual Great Midwest Harvest Festival usually held in early October.

I love this city!!! I proposed to my wife at the top of Bascom Hill - which overlooks the city. So beautiful. There are so many great places to go to eat, but my personal favourite is State Street Brats. Great city for eating, sports (especially american football) and ice hockey. Go badgers!

I've spent the past few days in Madison visiting a friend who attends grad school here. U-W at Madison has a beautiful campus in a great city -- the city is very environmental with bus, bike and environmental car options. There are lakes to the north and south which create gorgeous scenery and great food no matter where you go.
