I am sorry but all of my time spent in Adana was in Old Town... we would get dropped off and just walk around and go through the shops.. find somewhere to eat and continue walking around... loved all of the carpet shops... I wish I was able to go back for a visit...

You should definitely eat famous adana kebab in adana city, I ate it in some other cities even in Istanbul, it never tastes same. Adana is an industrial city as well where you can supply all kinds of materials.
