I'll be in Phuket from 9 October to 21 October. Does anyone know if there is anywhere in the area that still makes the old Tour Jackets that the old sailors used to get. The Thai tailors are world renowned for their high quality embroidery and artwork. I get to spend 1 night in Bangkok, 5 nights in Phuket Town and 2 nights in Krabi. Phi Phi Dom Island and James Bond Island are on the schedule too. I've never been to Thailand and I can't wait to get there.

Patong Beach for pubs, cafes, etc. - the main heart of the tourist area. Other beaches quieter. Beachfront resorts all along the western coast of the island. Sunset at Promthep Cape. Excursions to "James Bond Island" and others are decent day trips. For something offbeat, try Simon Cabaret, elephant rides. Traditional Thai massage is great; good seafood restaurants but be selective with both.

Hello, going to Phuket in febryary. I am looking for lazy laying under palm tree with a perfect sea view - which island near to Phuket would be suitable for that? Mean to say the less people the better... do that kind of places still exist near Phuket? :)
