USD rate is around 30 Thai BAT it depends on how much will you change, about the rent sorry have no idea..

i was in pattaya and its a nice place...i didnt regret that i have been there...but unfortunately i lost my 2 phones...but its okei i enjoyed staying in pattaya!!!

A good place to stay is the Areca Lodge it costs about 1000baht per night and it is cleansafe, be careful of the ladyboys on the back of tuk-tuks(open back taxis) they are pickpockets, dont walk along the beach alone at night, Mikes shopping mall is the best place to buy copies, a lacoste tee shirt is about 200 baht, watches &bags they will always ask for more, haggle for everything, always keep small money (20 baht notes) on you, to change money go to the gold shop in Soi Rungland-they give you a little bit over the bank rate. Have a good trip becareful crossing the roads,, the crossings dont mean anything and please make sure you have good medical insurance.
