Khon Kaen is the education city of the northeastern of Thailand. Because it has the university named " Khon Kaen university". I am graduated Bachelor's degree from there. It is a big university because it has a wide area and many trees there |

I like Khon Kaen. Good place to live. Not to big not to small not to much tourist.Near real Thai life. Easy to travel everywhere from here. Cheap living costs.Nice people around. UN.

We had been there for 2 times along our trip to Laos . The town is province city an so well-organized . In addition Khoe Kan University is so beautiful and nice place with full of natural environment . Furthermore Mekong Institute is situated in Khoe Kaen which is center of the Greater Mekong Subregion .

great place for people living in the real world and want to see Thailand at its best , the people are friendly , if you like the Pattaya type places this is not the place for you, a round the lake at night there some great eating spots and local music even the clubs are good later in the night, hotels at a good price and there some thail rock /live bang pubs very cool ,you might be the only western person in the place but will be made to feel welcome . the service as in most places is great your glass will never be m/T
