Hua Hin, one of Thai beach resort that is a well behaved cause the Thai Royal families lives there. Food, night activities, everything you need in a holiday, you can find over there. Have a dip in the sea water, beach in front of The Novotel, brings luck to you. We did that and today we becomes better. Lucks entered into us. Mcdonald is there, so food no problem for everbody.

Hua Hin has lovely long beaches,i went there a couple of times a few years ago.I was actually there for the millenium new year when they let off thousands of those hot air lanterns in to the sky.It had a mixture of big resort hotels on the beach and cheaper guest houses in town.I stayed at a place called the blue wave hotel which was set in it's own cove so it had it's own beach really.Good food in town, there was a great steakhouse called Buffalo Bills if it's still there,it was run by an englishman from london and he used to import the steaks especially. Not a bad journey by road from bangkok.

We visited on a couple of occasions to see the beach and to eat out - very good. we actually stayed at a Christian Guest House about 30 minutes away which was also excellent.

Hua Hin comparatively with other locations in Thailand , is quite "posh" actually . So most locations and venues are relatively upmarket . That said . there's still the night market and decent seaside locals for food . There's a pier restaurant that's quite lively to check out .
