I will be arriving in Malmo by the end of February for a job. I would like to know about living costs, ways to find accommodation, restaurants (halal/muslim), places to find Halal food items etc. Any help in this case, will be highly appreciated. |

Malmo is the southern most town of Sweden facing Denmark's capital city of Copenhagen. Sightseeing starts with visit to the tallest building in Scandinavian the famous The Turning Torso a marvel of modern architecture and residential buildings. Then visit the Stortorget. The equestrian statue of King Karl X Gustav, who took Skne from the Danes through the Roskilde Treaty of 1658, stands in the largest square of Malm. Stortorget became Malm's new marketplace and was the largest city square in Northern Europe for a very long time. People are very friendly, lovely forests when you travel through, beautiful cottages and horses to hire. Part of it is a bit like Oxford because of its oldest university, which is a town of its own. I love the tranquility of the place. Would recommend it.
