We were totally astonished by the fact that Lisbon was such a beautiful city. The 1st day we went to the old city and took tram 28 to the top of the mountain. The view was really great although it was foggy. After that we went to the city of Belem, where we found a lovely monastery and the great tower of Belem. The 2nd day we got up early and took the train to Sintra. This city, with all its palaces and castles, is worth a day's visit. On our way back we visited the cities of Caiscais and Estoril by bus. Our last full day we went to the part of the Expo of 1998. There we visited the Oceania and had beautiful walks in the lovely sun. After a short visit to the shopping mall over there we went back to our hotel (Lutécia). There we prepared for ourselves for New Years Eve. After dinner we went to see live music on the Placio de Commercio. We had a great evening with live music, crazy photos, champagne and wonderful fireworks. We had a wonderful time!

We, have one of de best ten beaches in the word, but its in the south near Tavira ( Algarve) it´s " Terra Estreita", we have other nice beaches around Lisbon Like "Guincho "near Cascais or "Portinho da Arrábida" near Setubal, The best time to come and go to the Beach is beatwin, end of Mai June Jully August, September.

November is great as prices in hotels have dropped and the weather is still warm only problem is that u dont have enough day light like u would do in the summer months. Many flights go to the main cites in Portugal like Lisbon and Faro also Proto.
