About Me
Some classmates who knew me back in high school probably remember me as shy, quiet and reserved. Many saw me as someone who didn't fit in with everyone else because I was gay AND native. That double jeopardy against me was a difficult challenge to overcome, a journey I faced on a daily basis. Today, I'm out and proud - I am living the life I want and I really could care less about the negative opinions of others. I choose not to become a victim of homophobia or racism because I know that I deserve the same treatment and respect as everyone else.
