I would like to know after Jesus's departure, lets say 200 years later who had power around the middle east? Was there a universal language? If so what was it? I have been told that Greek was spoken but find that hard to believe considering that arabic or aramaic is so pure of a language. Does anyone know?

I think that the italian language is the most sexiest language one can listen to. Listening to italian singers makes me weak at the knees! Love it, love the food too!
