Introduction

Hi, my name is Bart Teunis (bartus). I'm a 41 year-old Dutch male, currently in Eindhoven, Netherlands. I have 919 friends around the world.

Personal Note

Passion and emotion play an important role in the life of Bart Teunis, a Dutch photographer.

Being introduced to Photography and Dark room techniques at a young age by his father it took about 20 years before Bart got hooked on photography again. Bart Teunis started a couple of years ago to take photography more serious and attended the “Fotovakschool” which is the professional education for photographers in the Netherlands. By expressing passion and emotion Bart tries to make his work a part of himself and capture the feeling of that moment. With a background in landscape photography, where light and colors play the most important role and is absolute his favorite subject, Bart nowadays focusses more and more on studio, people and lifestyle work.

Bart is descriped by other people as passioned, straight forward, honest and is liked for his analytic mind and observations. Besides Photography Bart likes to cook, loves Jazz music and being among friends.

Where are you now? I am in my hometown which is Eindhoven the Netherlands

Are you doing anything fun this evening? This evening will be a relaxed one and I will stay in and catch up on some reading

You are excited because..? The spring has started and I can’t wait to get out and shoot more gorgeous places. We had a long winter in the Netherlands this year and you can see that everybody is very happy that spring finally kicks in. And of course because WAYN picked me out to be the interviewed member - very curious what will happen next.

Which continents have you visited? North America, Europe, Middle East

What do you use WAYN for? To meet interesting people and to find out about interesting places. WAYN to me is also very inspirational since you see a lot of nice photos from other members

Where’s your furthest friend located? Australia and the Philippines

Where did you watch your last sunset? At a lake quite close to home. You don’t have to go far to experience nature’s beauty

Where have you tasted the best food?
Vienna....just simple traditional Austrian food with a simple beer and in the good company of a special friend made it the best in the world

Where is your dream holiday destination?
Every new place is a dream holiday destination and once visited there is a new dream. I love to go to new places. I prefer places where the weather can be wild and you have great skies and great views as well. Love places where you can see the horizon ...
