Don't forget to take your identity papers (identification card, driving license, tourist sojourn permission), which you must take with you wherever you go. Routine control is regular occurrence, especially in season time.
If you observe these, you' ll avoid unpleasantness and paying of mandatory fine.
You can count on police politeness, but not on forgiving you twice.
Traffic regulations are realized under premises of European standards and you''ll adapt yourself quickly. Tighten your seat belts, adjust appropriate speed and don't use your cell phone while driving.
there are no rules for clothing, so you can put on your favorite clothes that make you feel comfortable. Having a great time doesn't depend on branded clothes. The only important thing is: adapt yourself to weather conditions- at the seaside, and in the mountains.
It's up to you to be smiled and communicative, and up to us to propose you successful fitting right into Montenegrin crowd and how to look splendid at the seaside and in the mountains! Source: MTC (Montenegro tourist center) www.mtc.cg.yu

Coastal Region

Alluring Diversity Montenegro, resting on the shores of the Adriatic, a small sea maybe, but a wide-open gateway to Europe. Each coastal town tells its own story. Herceg Novi, a true Mediterranean botanical garden, a town of carnivals and artists. Kotor, a town of ancient seafarers, builders and scientists, a museum town. Budva, an open-air stage for theatrical performances and festivals, a town of stunning beaches and a thrilling night life. Ulcinj, a town of many cultures, the easternmost West and westernmost East.

Central Region

The Heart of Montenegro
The Central Region, harbouring the capital city (Podgorica) and the old royal capital (Cetinje), contains a remarkable natural and cultural heritage. Cetinje is a town museum in which, at times, because of its multitude of old buildings, you have the feeling that time has come to a stand-still. Podgorica is located on a plain from where in half an hour you can get to the mountains or stunning Lake Skadar and in an hour, the seaside.

Northern Region

Breathtaking Mountains and Canyons!
The North of Montenegro is known for its ski resorts, but is also favoured by mountaineers and visitors who can enjoy spectacular views of its mountain ranges and peaks in summer. The North abounds in gorgeous canyons, mountain peaks covered in snow even in summertime, thrilling caves and unusual lakes...
