Theres some beautiful places in Pakistan, Ive been lucky enough to spend 18mths in Lahore & Karachi. Ive also been upto the mountains just past Rawlpindi. I was totally stunned it was so much more than I'd ever expected. The food was out of this world, I always enjoyed stopping of a night at the roadside food carts,. I'd recommend it very highly for any traveller. Especially the Mountains there's even snow up there sometimes around the time of the elections. Everyone was so so nice, all the children used to wave shouting 'hello Auntie' even strangers. Very warm welcoming people A Must See Country
well nI certainly had such a relaxing time I stayed 18mths. Though not being a drinker found this quite easy ! There are so many beautiful places there, I was very suprised. I spent the majority of my time in Township Lahore, but spent some time in Karachi and Rawlpindi. I went to the mountains when the elections were taking place and the snow was falling up there. I dont think I'd go now due to all the trouble in the middle east especially as Im English with blonde hair. I found I easier to wear the shalvakamese (spelling probably wrong) both culturally and for comfort as it was so so hot.
