Too many stories about flying, but when someone like me has been around aircraft in their early adult life, they are bound to have several stories... Do not ask me to elaborate in this day of social media sites with global fanaticism which uses any method to gain information.
I noticed a tip from Nicole about Weilerbach... and I used to live in Weilerbach Am Muhlhebel when I was assigned to Ramstein Air Base from 1990 to 1994.. I miss the church bells ringing every hour on the hour. The restaurant just on the outskirts of Weilerbach was one of the better restaurants. Also, I miss the small park in the middle of the town. Feeding the ducks was an entertaining event for my children at the time.
There have been several monuments I have been to, they are in Washington D.C. where I was born, and grew up, such as the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and the attractions in Washington D.C. Other monuments which may fall into this as well are the ones in Seoul, South Korea. I assigned in Seoul, and got to see all the attractions there.
