Among disadvantages I can mention: BAD traffic, rare (but still) strong frosts in winter and heats in summer,..what else?..yes, maybe its expensiveness, but to tell the truth, the prices for food or clothes, for instance, are not higher than in most ex-Soviet republics, extreme expensiveness is mostly felt when it comes to real-estate..) in this context - yes, Moscow is on the top, alas! But generally is a GREAT city! Come and see it!!
I like Moscow, it's a city of great opportunities and the right place to earn money)). It gives you evth: want to work? - there are plenty of jobs sites and offers; want to travel? - it has 5 international airports and a huge number of railway stations; want to go sightseeing? - there ARE a lot of places of interest both in the city and beyond its limits (you can make "the Golden Ring trip" and visit such notorious cities as Suzdal, Vladimir, Kostroma, etc.), never mind the sights of Moscow itself!!; Moscow entertainment life will definetely satisfy those interested in parties). Easy in use Moscow metropolitan is not the last to mention.
