I work in the engineering and information systems fields and for the most part, I enjoy my work. In my free time, I like to stay active doing things such as running and biking and during the winter I especially enjoy hiking in the hills and trees outside the city. When feeling more intellectually inclined, I enjoy reading about military history and current events. I have never been married and have no children but I coach youth and high school soccer and basketball teams so sometimes it feels like I have about 15 of them!

I had the privilege of travelling to some interesting places courtesy of my first employer after graduating from university. I must admit that at the time, privilege wasn't quite the word I used for my travels to a few places but in retrospect, I am glad to have had the chance to experience some parts of the world that I might not otherwise have seen.
