Yes, now is raining season here, but not rain all day long, just one or thirty minute except there is storm in neighboring country.

The town/city itself is nothing special-it's a base to visit Angkor Wat and therefore full of tourists. I liked the atmosphere, people everywhere.

For those interested in carved souvenirs, wood and stone - Buddha statues, dancing apsaras etc, get them there for really good/cheap prices.

And, finally and the most importantly, use both days (early morning to 5pm) to visit the incredible Angkor Wat.I advise you to hire a guide who can go with you and give you important information about the temples. I read/prepared before the visit but was sorry I didn't take a guide. Enjoy, it's incredible!
