Hi, windhoek is undoubtedly the best african city outside of our sa borders. The town is modern with all the trimmings...but most of all neat, friendly people, and more importantly safe...one does'nt get that feeling of having to watch over yourself all the time. Of course common sense should prevail. There's lots to see and do and there is a strong german infuence which I found refreshing. Enjoy yourself...i did.
