Off to New York for the very first time in mid June on a business trip. I only have one weekend free and want to make the best out of it. what are the must sees, goes, and eat? any other recommendations? thanks!

Thanks Pat! It is indeed my first time in NewYork! I have a whole of Saturday and Sunday free and was wondering what to do...not so much interested in sightseeing but more into entertainments such as musicals, theatres, live music, clubs and bars, and such. I was thinking of doing a helicopter ride, but is it with trying? Cheers!

Hey.. Sorry for late reply.. You should definitely watch lion king.. Go to a restaurant near union square... Called max brenner.. A bit of central part would be nice too... Clubs and bars - depends on your taste... Spend some time at times square - you would like it
