I spent a week on Sal and there is nothing there unless you like to stay in a hotel all the time. I'm easy going and make the best of things so we did, but I certainly wouldn't go there again. We did have a trip on a small plane to another island, it was a little better but there isn't really anywhere to go without a guide and even then, there is very little to see. Sal means salt of course and that is the best way to discribe it, people were lovely though.

You need to come here with someone who knows the place. Sal means salt, beacause before they had a large enterprise to export salt. if you go to "Buracona" you'll see a amazing scene..... so come again and contact me
